Final

Project

Cultural Center in Liège.
Liège (Belgium), 2015-2016.

Subject: Final Project of Architecture.

I chose my project in Liège, in a suburb of the city. The project starts from a point of view of the landscape, looking for the relationship with the city and the river, creating a large garden on the edge of the river. The district needed a civic center (library, theater, cafeteria...) to revitalize the neighborhood, and offer to the people a recreational and cultural center. The exterior and interior make it a place at the same time. Light is the most important material to create architecture.

Urban Design. Public Square.
Campanar, Valencia (Spain), 2013.

Subject: Urban Planning III, (in group).
The project aims to recover the common life of the neighborhood of Campanar in Valencia. Nowadays, the church square is obsolete and the project offers a chance to take the square to become the center of the neighborhood. To organize the new square, it is taken as a reference the old vegetable gardens that were in the square. Public lighting works, pavement types, types of trees, shrubs and flowers, and the elements of street furniture form the new public square.

Public Library.
Ruzafa, Valencia (Spain), 2013.

Subject: Projects III.

The area chosen for the project is "Ruzafa", an ancient village inside Valencia. The idea is to respect the typology of construction in the area, leaving a courtyard inside the block to built a garden and integrate the nature. The access of the building is through a covered walkway that leads to the library or to the differents rooms for doing differents activities for the  neighborhood.
Inside, the roofs become large terraces which are communicated.

The first area includes the gallerys of photography, the second has the service area, and the third area includes rooms to learn about photography and a multipurpose room.
